The Discworld is a flat world which rests on the backs of four elephants who, in turn, stand upon the shell of the ten-thousand-mile-long star turtle, the Great A'Tuin, their designated driver on this journey through space. Since we are the Pans Narrans, story telling chimpanzee, a world like that, made up of stories and ruled by Narrativium is the perfect place from which we can draw useful information and advice for our very own round and boring universe.
